Forests located in the restored forest area are classified as protective and are the forest vegetation zone of the mountainous North Caucasus. The site is located on an open hill with a picturesque view of the floodplain of the Sunzha River, which originates from the glaciers of the Greater Caucasus Range at an altitude of 1200 m, passes through the territory of the Chechen Republic through Grozny and Gudermes and flows into the Terek. Planting forests is necessary to strengthen the banks and create sustainable forest cultures in the unforested areas of the Samashkinsky district forestry. Landscaping of the site is carried out in order to improve the sanitary and ecological state of the local natural environment. Planting material grown in the Petropavlovsk tree nursery of the Grozny forestry was selected for landscaping the area. Seedlings have high winter hardiness, resistance to moderate regional weather conditions.
