The restored site belongs to the protective forests of the Mazurovsky district forestry and is located 15 km from the center of Kemerovo, forming an urban forest park zone. Now it is an area not covered with forest, surrounded mainly by birch trees. In this territory, the reforestation project provides for planting in the spring of 2020 of Siberian cedar pine in the amount of 4,000 thousand trees - this is a step towards increasing the composition of conifers in the forests of the Kemerovo region, along with the return to the region of its historically formed Siberian appearance, unique natural landscapes and especially valuable ecological systems.
