About area

This site is located next to the Laplandsky Nature Reserve, not far from Lake Imandra, in the western part of the Kola Peninsula. The lake is the largest in the Murmansk region and the 14th in Russia in terms of water surface area. The forest on the site died as a result of the fire and is not restored naturally. Human participation will help not only to restore the habitat of such animals as reindeer, elk, brown bear, rassomach, etc., but will also help preserve the high water level of the lake. With the help of customers and employees of Post Bank, in the spring of 2019 we plan to plant 3,500 pine seedlings per hectare.

Wow, it's been a season, right? We, foresters, usually worry about forest diseases, but this year we had to worry about people - along with the whole world. Fortunately, the virus did not affect our trees and we are ready to tell you how they survived the winter. The growth of forest cultures in the first year was about 2 cm, the state of the young forest is excellent, without damage and pests. Pine seedlings took ... root well after winter. Follow our news!

Friends, we hasten to tell you about our new forest! In August 2019, a landing took place in Monchegorsk forestry in the Murmansk region. Together we planted 3,500 pine seedlings. This was an amazing landing: the stunning nature of the Kola Peninsula, stones and mosses, a scattering of lingonberries underfoot and, of course, an excellent company of caring people. More than twenty years ago, the forest that grew ... here completely burned out and could not recover on its own. But thanks to the “Give the Forest to a Friend” program, we plan to return the lost green massif, which means to return the house to reindeer, wolverines and brown bears. Thanks to everyone who helped us make the landing. Joining forces - saving the planet!
