About area

The Khvalynsky National Park is located in the northeastern part of the Saratov Right Bank, on the middle Volga in the forest-steppe zone among wide fields. Khvalynsky National Park is pristine hills and hollows, wild forests, breathtaking meadows and fields, spring ponds, chalk mountains and a large number of relict plants and animals, some of which are listed in the Red Book. This area of the forest needs planting of Scots pine seedlings. The wasteland is overgrown with grass and natural reforestation does not occur. The park is 80% forest, and each site requires increased attention and protection, as it is part of the overall ecosystem. Not far from the site is the Barskaya Dam tourist trail. We invite everyone to visit, walk, admire nature and watch how the forest will grow, restored by joint efforts.

Hello, friends! Our forest is growing steadily, the survival rate is still at a height of 72%. At present, foresters are carrying out agrotechnical care for plantings: they mow the grass and loosen the soil. This gives young trees access to the necessary resources: light, air and moisture. Thank you for being with us!

Dear friends, our forest feels great and shows a good survival rate: at this site it was 72.1%, which is an excellent indicator and does not require addition. The conducted agrotechnical care will allow our pines to grow in improved conditions: the foresters mowed the territories and removed the weeds around the seedlings. We attach a photo report, which shows what a good increase our seedlings gave from the moment ... of planting. Thank you for being with us!

Dear friends! According to the results of the autumn inventory of forest crops, the survival rate in this area is 73%. Ahead of winter, how well the seedlings will overwinter will be known only after the snow cover has disappeared, then a decision will be made to conduct a supplement.

It would seem that quite recently we carried out landings at our sites, and today we are conducting their scheduled inspection. Seedlings feel well enough, thanks to a professionally carried out planting and high-quality planting material. The exact percentage of survival rate, as well as how well the seedlings moved summer, we find out in the fall, when we make an inventory of forest crops.
