About area

National Park "Meshchera" in its original form is an amazing example of real Russian nature with its endless fields and meadows, mighty forests, sunny glades and clean lakes. In 2010, forest fires killed more than 2,000 hectares of coniferous plantations. The site for restoration, damaged in 2010 as a result of forest fires, has an area of 0.4 hectares, is located in the immediate vicinity of the working village and is a recreation site for local residents. Volunteers of Ryazan organizations, schoolchildren of the district and students of Ryazan universities will be invited to plant the forest. During the project, 2000 Scots pine seedlings will be planted, which will help restore the balance of conifers in the park.

Dear friends! Specialists of the national park conducted an autumn inventory of forest crops. In forestry, it is generally accepted that forest cultures planted in spring tolerate the winter worse and take root. Thus, the survival rate at the site was 65%. We decided to carry out the addition of crops in the spring of next year. We will be happy to tell you about all the events held.

Dear friends! We planted seedlings grown in our own nursery. We are confident that a high-quality planting and further agrotechnical cares will create conditions for excellent survival and growth of seedlings. We traditionally set up an information stand at the site of the landing, telling visitors of the park about the Mail Bank environmental project.
