The Vishtynetsky Natural Park is a large forest area located in the southeastern part of the Kaliningrad region. Together with the landscape park "Pushcha Romintska" in Poland and the Lithuanian regional park "Vishtytis" forms a closed forest with an area of almost 360 square meters. km., which is an "echo" of the "Great Wilderness" that existed until the middle of the 17th century. The cause of forest destruction in this area was a fall caused by a strong wind in July 2016. Currently, the cutting area is under development, clear sanitary felling of the fallen trees is being carried out. We hope, with the support of customers and employees of the Post Bank, in the fall of 2018, to prepare the soil and plant oak and spruce seedlings, which will allow the site to return to its original appearance.
