About area

The reserve is located on the gentle eastern slope of the Southern Urals and is designed to protect rare species of plants and animals, for example, mammals: Brandt's bat, Natusius's bat, steppe pika. The forest on this site, with an area of 1 hectare, died as a result of a forest fire in 2012. The dead wood has been removed, the area has been prepared for planting, and with the help of people who are not indifferent to nature, we plan to plant 6,600 Scots pine seedlings, which will return the original appearance to the reserve in a few years.

Wow, it's been a season, right? We, foresters, usually worry about forest diseases, but this year we had to worry about people - along with the whole world. Fortunately, the virus did not affect our trees, and we are ready to tell you how the young forest feels. Pine seedlings are healthy, stronger and gaining in growth. Follow our news!

Dear friends! We have conducted annual monitoring and are ready to share great news with you. According to the results of the inventory of the current year, the survival rate of forest crops amounted to 43.7%. This indicator is below the design values, so in the spring we plan to supplement with new seedlings. Follow our reports and thank you for restoring the forest.

Annual care report
Friends, our forest has wintered well, the survival rate is at the level of 90%, which is a very good indicator. Agrotechnical care was carried out for plantings: young trees were crushed, and rows were cleared up. This gives our pines an advantage in access to light and moisture. Thank you for being with us!
